Hi, it’s Ayaka and today I will be sharing some tips on how to relax at home

So when you are out at work, school or even hanging out with your friends, (let’s be honest) it’s TIRING!

Of course I’m having fun when I’m out with my friends and all, but you get home and you suddenly feel this exhaustion out of your body that you only realize when you get home.

When you think about school or work the next day it could get you really stressful, right…?

It’s Sunday night and you wanna get yourself relaxed to start a fresh week from tomorrow,

so what to do on a Sunday night?!

I, the QUEEN OF LAZINESS lol will teach you how to relax in 4 super easy ways that I’m sure anyone would be able to try out!

【You can read this article in 7 min.↓】

Bathrobe

When you hear a bathrobe, you might imagine something like this↓

with a glass of wine…lol

I don’t think many people know how useful this actually is!

Clothes are made according to the shapes of our body so it fits us right and that gets us to be in this “active” mode.

Which means whenever you are fully dressed in your clothes, you are “active”!!

But you obviously need some time “off” so that’s when you get undressed, just be in your underwear and put on a bathrobe(*´▽`*)

Bathrobe can really get you in relaxed mode!

You don’t have to look for expensive and fancy bathrobe, in fact I wear one from IKEA and it’s really good!(^^)!

I’m sure you’ll have totally different experience at home★

Indirect Lighting

So now that you dressed yourself in a bathrobe, next is lighting!

When you want some relaxing time, try indirect lighting(‘ω’)ノ

It’s actually really useful if you have one in your room★

You can just create this by using normal light and all you have to do is put it against the wall or the ceiling!

You need light bright enough for you to do things at home, but the point is to have a little dull lighting to create this relaxing atmosphere.

(I recommend using yellow light bulbs)

If you absorb too might bright light, you are not gonna be able to get to sleep, so try yellowish indirect lighting for nice tone of brightness which is perfect for you to get to sleep later!

Amazake (Sweet Sake)

Who doesn’t like a little bit of alcohol when you want some relaxing time (*’ω’*)

In Japan, amazake is known as drinkable IV and it’s really good for us★

I looked up some of the effects and it includes the following:

  • Better (quality) sleep
  • Better skin
  • Relieve constipation
  • Improve metabolism
  • Increase immunity
  • Recover fatigue

↑ See all these amazing effects!?

Amazake is divided into two types:

One is made out of sake lees.

Sugar is added to lees in this way, so if you drink this you are going to be consuming alcohol and sugar.

But the other one is made out of malted rice and I recommend this one, because usually sugar is not added and you can enjoy the natural sweetness of the rice!

This is the amazake I drink↓

Amazake paste from “Sandaime: Shigezo”.

It’s very popular and it’s always out of stock!

The package has 3 of these pastes for only 100 Japanese yen★

Simply calculating, it’s only 33 yen per one cup of amazake!

You can drink it with about 100g of hot water or milk, it’s super easy( ^)o(^ )

Try amazake to keep your body warm(#^^#)

Hot Eye Mask + Red Beans Hot Eye Mask

“Jouki de aimasuku”

Have you ever used hot eye masks?

This is pretty famous in Japan and a lot of people use it!

I use it often because it’s easy, you just have to open the package and put it on yourself to warm your eyes.

But it’s usually disposable so I wouldn’t say it’s very cheap…

Another thing is it’s super thin and light that you barely feel its weight so you don’t feel like it’s properly pressing against your eyes.

That’s when Red Beans Hot Eye Mask comes in use!

“Azuki no chikara”

This one has red beans inside and its got nice weight to it

BUT you need to microwave this one…

So for those who want to use it outside during transportation like on your way places, you can’t do that ((+_+))

So I came up with this idea of using BOTH the disposable eye mask and this red beans eye mask!!

You place the red beans eye mask on top of the thin eye mask like this↓

This way you don’t have to microwave it and still get the nice warm pressing against your eyes★

This is SUPER RELAXING! (*´ω`*)

But of course the red beans eye mask will do the job if you are at home!

Super Easy, Right?!

I really recommend purchasing those items for your relaxing time (^o^)丿

It’s really not that expensive too so try it out!

Hope you get a good rest and start the week fresh☆彡
